The Ornate series of playing cards designed by Randy Butterfield, and inspired by Baroque design, have been extremely popular ever since they were funded on Kickstarter back in March 2014.
 
The Obsidian deck features a black, matte, velum tuck box with black & gold foil highlights, along with a gold foiled interior. Cards printed by the United States Playing Card Comapny.
